We would like a different economy, on a human scale, which will leave us the time and serenity to be with our family. We would like our cities full of small shops, full of life and not desertified by shopping centers and the big names in online sales. We would like an economy at the service of our health, of our social relationships, not an economy that destroys our society.

The American writer Ralph Nader said: “If you don't deal with politics, politics will take care of you”. That is: if we do not commit ourselves to remove the causes that lead the state to slaughter us with taxes and to favor multinationals, no one will do it for us and the problems will not be solved just because we are committed even more in our work.

Precisely for this reason, even if we do not have time to do things beyond work, we took the time to set up the Italia Che Lavora association www.italiachelavora.org , to create what is not there: something that gives voice to self-employed workers, to small VAT numbers, who work to defend us from the attacks of the system.

We will only be able to do all this together, with the active participation of many, because a population of spectators can only continue to undergo everything we are undergoing. We will not save ourselves by continuing to work without fighting against this system.
