Germany will pour a mountain of irregular migrants into neighboring countries

Germany, after the attack in Solingen by the Syrian Issa Al Hassan and the victory of the populist parties AfD and BSW, decided to radically change course, or at least to show this change, and the Traffic Light Coalition began to discuss a strong restriction on the possibility of migrating to Germany and on the rights of migrants themselves. All this will have very serious consequences on neighboring countries

On Thursday the traffic light coalition agreed on a "security package" in response to the attack. The plan includes a tightening of asylum laws, a broad ban on the use of knives and greater powers for security authorities. But the government's actions will not stop there: Scholz wants to completely cut social benefits for asylum seekers and refugees for whom another EU country is responsible.

This measure would have a strong consequence on the countries of first access, such as Italy, Bulgaria and Spain, which risk having a wave of return irregular immigration : irregular migrants, no longer having any social assistance in Germany, will be forced to return to the countries first access. A paradoxical situation, given that Syrian migrants certainly do not want to remain in Bulgaria, one of the poorest countries in the EU, and that they often arrive in Italy brought by non-profit organizations financed by German bodies.

However, for many politicians these measures are not enough: the vice-president of the Union's parliamentary group, Jens Spahn (CDU), warned that the real problem is "the simply too high number of irregular immigration to Germany". But there were no words “limit” or “border” in the summit's traffic light document, Spahn criticized on WELT TV .

“If on Tuesday at this migration summit we will only talk about what was presented by the traffic light last week, then we will not need to meet,” Spahn said. Because the traffic light can decide on all points with the majority of the Bundestag.

Meanwhile, Sarah Wagenknecht, leader of the BSW and one of the winners of the last elections, claims that this immigration summit is simply “Fictional” and that it serves “The political end of uncontrolled immigration” and she says this as a member of the radical left. Who knows if someone in the PD will have ringing ears in Italy.
