All Russia’s military moves between Pakistan and Mali

According to the Russian News Agency , Russia and Pakistan organized a meeting in Islamabad on military cooperation and in the context of defense and security.

Naturally, the meeting was aimed at strengthening the relationship especially in the Afghan theater. This initiative fits coherently within the collaboration between Russia and Pakistan as evidenced by the recent conversation between President Putin and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. Indeed, it is significant that the Pakistani Prime Minister stressed the importance of stabilizing the Afghan situation.

The need to strengthen synergy with Pakistan arises also and above all with the aim of containing and countering the American presence on the one hand and on the other hand to contain and counter the influence of India increasingly linked to the United States. In this regard, let us not forget that a military training agreement was signed between Moscow in response to the decision by US President Trump to exclude Pakistan from international military training.

Also with the aim of strengthening Russia's presence in Asia, the Russian news agency Interfax reported the statements of the deputy commander of the central military section of the Russian federation, namely that Major General Rustam Minnekaev. For which Moscow intends to further strengthen the Kant area located east of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, where Russia intends to implement an area defense system.

The strategic importance is indeed significant: this military infrastructure was in fact created to guarantee the security of the territory of the organization of the collective security treaty or CSTO which, being in Kyrgyzstan, played a role of control and containment of the American military infrastructure.

But, as we have stressed several times, even in the African context, Russia is now moving rapidly. In fact, according to TASS , the Russian special representative for African countries, Mikhail Bogdanov, who happens to be the Federation's Deputy Foreign Minister, had a meeting with Tiefing Konate, Mali's ambassador to Russia. From this meeting, which certainly strengthens the Russian presence in Mali in an anti-French function, it emerged that both have created a synergy on the economic, cultural and technical-scientific fronts. This synergy, moreover, had already found a clear anticipation in the meeting of 4 September between the Minister of Defense of Mali, Sadio Camara, who had gone to the Russian capital precisely to discuss "cooperation and military assistance".
