We are people like you, who work in the midst of a thousand difficulties, crushed by unfair competition from multinationals and large-scale distribution. People who do not sleep at night, after yet another communication from the Revenue Agency asking us to choose between being tax evaders or feeding our children. People who know very well that banks are not working to support businesses, but only to ensure shareholders' annuities and have no qualms about taking away our homes as well.
People who work 13 hours a day, without weekends and without holidays, in the hope of being able to resist, who don't even have time to breathe.
We would like a different economy, on a human scale, which will leave us the time and serenity to be with our family. We would like our cities full of small shops, full of life and not desertified by shopping centers and the big names in online sales.
We would like an economy at the service of our health, of our social relationships, not an economy that destroys our society.
