CONCRETE INCENTIVES FOR ITALIAN COMPANIES (by Primo Gonzaga)

If you are an exporting company that intends to further develop its exports, you need to seriously inquire about the funds that will be made available to you starting from the end of the month.

I have been dealing with facilitated finance for over 30 years and I do not remember ever having seen in the last 20 years a series of such powerful incentives and with such significant financial resources and in part "Lost Fund" available to companies.

Anyone who knows me knows that I have always been critical of the macroeconomic maneuver and the PNRR and here I confirm it. At a macro level, the PNRR will certainly cause problems for Italy, especially because it will make us even more dependent on the EU, but some of the actions that are contained within it are certainly interesting and can help the development of our businesses. This is why I believe it is important to inform those who read Economic Scenarios of the concrete opportunities that are available to SMEs in the coming months.

Before giving some examples, I consider a premise absolutely necessary:

it is essential that an entrepreneur uses public incentives only and only if such aids are included in the strategy of his company. In other words, it is absolutely necessary to avoid the application for public funding just to be able to have some more money.

On the contrary, if a company already has a strategy, for example abroad, public funds can help it to accelerate its development and it is useful to use all possible incentives to create the conditions for making long-term investments .

For this reason, if you are reading this article, start asking yourself some questions about your company:

  1. Have you already started working abroad and in particular have you been billing at least 20% with foreign customers for 2 years?
  2. Do you want to further increase sales on well-defined markets of foreign countries and when we speak of foreign countries I mean both European and non-European all over the world?
  3. You are interested in setting up a permanent branch or a showroom or an after-sales service office in a market where you are already present
  4. You want to participate in trade fairs or do a market study on a country that is potentially your customer
  5. do you want to develop ecommerce platforms to sell your products on foreign markets?

(in reality there are also incentives for those who are not exporting yet or are just starting, even if they are less relevant, but here I do not intend to go into individual cases)

If you answered "yes" to some of these questions then the invitation is to investigate the funds that the PNRR makes available to companies also through the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and Sace / Simest because you are the perfect beneficiaries of the financial benefits.

You will be able to obtain liquidity at extremely convenient rates (less than 1% per annum and without guarantees) and until 31 December and when the funds are exhausted, 25% of the loan is non-repayable. In other words, you will receive a loan of 100 but you will return only 75 and after 4/6/8 years depending on the types of financing.

.

Not only that, if you are based or with a production branch in the southern regions, the non-repayable loan will be 40%.

Those arriving are the first part of the Recovery Plan Funds (or PNRR) that have been diverted to refinance and remodel the law 394/81 managed by SIMEST. Thanks to the use of the already largely operational tools of law 394, the calls will be open starting from 28 October. From these pages I invite entrepreneurs and managers to inquire to understand if the available loans may be suitable for your company and in that case quickly prepare the loan application.
