In spite of the “let's not send too advanced weapons to Kiev”, Berlin practically sends a prototype, or rather the first industrial series, with a mix of advanced technologies, directly on the battlefield! By 2022, two variants were available: IRIS-T SLS (short range) with a range and altitude of 12 km and IRIS-T SLM (medium range) with a range of 40 km and a maximum altitude of 20 km. France will send Crotale, which is certainly not a new system. Italy will not send anything, because it literally has nothing to send. The US sends NASAMS, which is up to date, but not brand new. The Germany of the “Semaforo” government finally decides to send the best that, so new that it is not even in service. Why such a decisive change of position?
