WHY PUNISH THE ELDERLY WHEN COVID SPREADS IN SCHOOL?

Today the newspaper Il Tempo carries out a rather interesting analysis of the data relating to infections by age group and by temporal distribution, which confirms intuitions for which the problem is not the elderly, but the young. The analysis of the data shows that the first two age groups – the one between 0 and 9 and the one between 10 and 19, i.e. those that contain the entire school population, have exploded in the last two months, with a growth of 496.99%, more than four times higher than the general average of infections in all age groups. The range between 20 and 29 years saw an increase of 234.10% of cases. The intermediate class, under the age of 50, saw a below-average growth in infections. In the class between 70 and 79 there was an increase equal to less than half of the general one, with an increase of 46.7%. Between the ages of 80 and 89, growth was even lower: + 28.30%. And it still fell above 90 years: + 21.13%.

The growth of cases in young people corresponded to the start of school. Let's put two and two together, which is hated by the politically correct: if it is the young people of school age who have a boom in cases, and after the start of school, it is obvious that this has a real and direct role in the spread of the virus. Beyond the classrooms, there is the whole problem of transfers, especially on public transport, with packed metro and buses. The elderly do not go out, or go out little, they are prudent, attentive, and therefore get sick less. Boys, even without the famous gatherings, are more prone to physical contact, it's in their nature. we absolutely do not want to condemn them, indeed, but we cannot even think of violating human nature with the laws.

Unfortunately, these simple, logical statements escape the government from its solons. Since the dying are mostly elderly, then we must put them all in prison, forbid them to go out, because otherwise they get sick. to avoid death they are sentenced to life imprisonment: which of the two penalties is the worst? Meanwhile, AIFA takes it VERY EASY in approving the experimental use of drugs, contrary to what the FDA does, leaving doctors empty-handed. So the government, tightened by its own failures, by its useless DPCM, can do nothing but blame the elderly, condemning them without trial.

now it is time to stop with these government antics. We are now really fed up and it is time for a real government, which takes mature choices and which does not hide behind the inefficiency of the bureaucratic machine it created itself. A necessity for the country, but how can this be achieved?
