All the new turmoil at Bnl (Bnp Paribas)

What happens in the BNL? Facts, numbers, indiscretions and reconstructions. Emanuela Rossi's article

The echo of the sale to Accenture of some branches of Bnl has not subsided. The "Savoy" operation, which involved over 500 workers active in the back-office, started on 1 June and aroused the opposition of the unions, worried about the outsourcing which also involved – according to reports from Tpi – over 200 employees who fall into disadvantaged categories, i.e. disabled, cancer patients, certified caregivers with law 104.

Ora Verità & Affari has published excerpts of the document signed by the parties which provides the details of the sale, the cost of which is around 2 million euros.

THE OPERATION AND DOUBTS OF THE GOVERNMENT

The transfer of the 530 workers from BNL to Accenture is part of a larger project by the subsidiary of Bnp Paribas which also saw the sale of the IT branch of the company to the French Capgemini, or rather to a subsidiary recently established and today no activity. and workers, Capgemini Finance Service Tech. In total, this plan will bring about 800 employees to change employers: 250 with IT skills, employed in the so-called IT of core banking, and another 530 active in the back-office. The transfer of the 250 employees to Capgemini was finalized in April without, however, the signing of the relative union agreements as happened for the one following Accenture.

The government had also moved on the matter, asking BNL for more details on the Accenture company called to manage the personal data of the bank's Italian customers, which is now in foreign hands. The bank had promptly made it known that it had already ready the answers to the questions posed by Palazzo Chigi and that in any case the outsourcing would be completed by June.

The executive then decided not to exercise the special powers provided for by the law after the investigation conducted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance on the sale and had stated that – after the notification took place on 8 April – "the proposal was accepted of non-exercise of special powers, formulated by the Ministry of Economy as the administration responsible for the investigation ".

THE DOCUMENT INTERCEPTED BY "TRUTH & AFFAIRS"

The document reported by the daily newspaper directed by Maurizio Belpietro was signed in Rome on 26 May by Roberto Valerio, PAC director, and by Gianfilippo Pandolfini, deputy general manager and chief operating officer, for Bnl and by Christian Righi, attorney, for Accenture Services and Technology srl. The purchase price, equal to a total of 2 million euros, will be paid in four installments of 500 thousand euros each with maturity on 31 December 2022, 31 December 2023, 31 December 2024, 31 December 2025.
