I smiled bitterly yesterday saying to an old man on a stretcher, who was crying on the phone with her daughter, "don't worry, she doesn't have a covid but only a completely collapsed lung .. but it's not for the covid , I swear"

I see publishing, as did our distinguished governor (but I don't even comment on that one), radiological images of lungs devastated by covid .. yes, it's true covid pneumonia is devastating .. but because tac images do not spread of kids, teenagers devastated by aggressive leukemia / lymphomas, images that freeze the blood in our veins when we run them every day? Kids that maybe the nightlife will never even know what it is .. These numbers interest no one? 3. I always turn to my colleagues .. let's go back to being doctors, let's not sink into this vortex that is now more political-economic than health … let's comfort and reassure people, this is our task, we have always done it before covid with unfortunate pathologies , why do we now do the opposite?
Stay at home if you don't need hospital care … let us treat those who need it … trust the doctors … and if they don't come to visit you, call this damned police … who for once is at the side of those in need and not always against those who manifest so that their dignity is respected … who do not look in vain for the Camorra in the chaos of a demonstration, but in the silence of illegality and hidden trafficking.
