NEW RESOURCES FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL
“With the measure we are allocating five billion euros for national collective bargaining across the entire public sector – continued Meloni -. Based on the calculations carried out by the Ministry of Economy, taking into account the wage bill and average salaries, and also based on our priorities, we believe that of these 5 billion no less than 1.4 billion will be allocated to the Police Forces and to the Armed Forces and another 100 million to the Fire Brigade".

Specifically, "an increase in professionalism has been decided, such as doctors and health professions personnel, commissioners, laboratory technicians, engineers, engineers, transport and materials logisticians, computer scientists and experts in the cyber sector".
As the Defense note specifies, the adoption of the provision is "without new burdens for public finances, as it has been modulated within spending limits compatible with the savings achieved with the reduction process started in 2014".

INTERNAL COMPETITION TO LAUNCH IN 2024 FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL
Finally, the bill, approved yesterday by the Council of Ministers, provides for an internal competition, to be carried out in 2024, in order to complete the process of transitioning sergeants and volunteers, already in permanent service, into the marshals of the health professions, in possession of qualifications and qualifications required by law, as well as the possibility for military personnel to be sent to national bodies or agencies to acquire specific professional skills.
Furthermore, orderly remodulations are foreseen with regard to the Mobile and Special Organization and the Carabinieri Command of the Bank of Italy, as well as measures aimed at optimizing the planning of expenses of the National Reception Center for seized and confiscated animals of the Forestry, Environmental and agri-food.
MINISTER CROSETTO'S SATISFACTION
“It is a very important day for Defense and for all the Armed Forces not only for the approval of the 'Security package', but also because, with the definitive approval of the legislative decree for the revision of the national military instrument, a process of profound renewal that blocks the reduction of staff, hitherto imposed by law no. 244 of 2012, and which was no longer sustainable in consideration of the current commitments on the national territory and internationally. The provision marks a decisive change of pace towards an authentic structural and functional review of the military instrument, a review which is among the most significant steps of recent years" commented Defense Minister Guido Crosetto.
“I consider these two steps truly historic: never before have we seen such an effort and commitment from a government of the Republic, namely dedicating a specific CDM to the entire Defense, Security and Public Rescue sector. The approved rules address and resolve issues that have been raised for some time by this sector, in favor of the staff and certainly not of the ministries", added Minister Crosetto.
