Today the Shareholders' Meeting of Engineering Ingegneria Informatica Spa approved the financial statements for the year 2021.

The company specializing in the digital transformation of businesses and PA led by Maximo Ibarra closed 2021 with a value of production equal to 1,321 million euros, up 6.4% (of which 5.7% organic growth) compared to 2020. It is higher than that of the digital market for which in 2021 Anitec-Assinform estimates growth of + 5.5% in 2021. Net profit settled at 47.5 million euros, in line with the trend of the past years (net of 2020 which benefited from extraordinary and non-comparable income).

In addition, the shareholders' meeting ratified the appointment, approved by the Board of Directors on 28 March last, of Gaetano Miccichè as chairman.

ALL THE 2021 NUMBERS OF ENGINEERING

In 2021 the group recorded a strengthening of growth in all market segments in which it operates and an improvement in profitability.

In addition to the value of production up 6.4% and the net profit settled at 47.5 million euros, Engineering announced that the adjusted EBITDA is equal to 198.2 million euros, up 11, 7% compared to the previous year and with a profitability on net revenues which went from 14.6% in 2020 to 15.3% in 2021.

In particular, the company recorded “organic, homogeneous and widespread growth in all the main areas in which the Group operates, each of which maintains a balanced percentage incidence with respect to the total value of production”, reads the published note.

TOWARDS INVESTMENTS AND HIRING

“We intend to continue on this path by aiming at new investments and the recruitment of many new talents” announced CEO Ibarra. “In this regard, we confirm our commitment to a recruitment plan of 1,000 new employees to facilitate the leap in scale, including internationally, and constantly improve our offering for customers”, he concluded.
