With the activation of the national platform created and managed by Sogei, starting from Thursday 17 June, citizens will be able to start receiving notifications via email or sms with the warning that the certification is available and a code to download it on pc, tablet or smartphone.
The sending of messages and the unblocking of activations will continue throughout the month of June, and will be fully operational from 28 June, in time for the activation of the European pass scheduled for 1 July.
From 1 July, in fact, the Covid-19 green certification will be valid as an EU digital Covid certificate and will make it easier to travel to and from all countries of the European Union and the Schengen area.

WHAT IS THE GREEN VACCINATION CERTIFICATION
It is a digital and printable (paper) certification, which contains a two-dimensional barcode (QR Code) and a qualified electronic seal.
In Italy, it is issued only through the national platform of the Ministry of Health.
WHO CAN GET IT
Those who have taken the first dose or the 15-day single-dose vaccine can obtain it if they have completed the vaccination cycle; those who have been negative for a molecular or rapid swab in the previous 48 hours and those who have recovered from Covid-19 in the previous six months.
THE PROTECTION OF PRIVACY
For the protection of personal data, the QR Code of the certification will only be shown to the personnel appointed by law for the checks.
HOW TO OBTAIN GREEN CERTIFICATION: DIGITAL MODES
The Covid-19 Green Certification can be viewed, downloaded and printed on various digital channels: – on the dedicated website www.dgc.gov.it – on the Regional Electronic Health Record website www.fascicolosanitario.gov.it/fascicoli-regurali – on the 'App Immuni – and soon on the App IO.

Even IO, the public services app (io.italia.it), is one of the channels through which to obtain the Covid-19 Green Certification, the so-called “Green Pass”.

Those who do not have digital tools (computers or smartphones) can contact their general practitioner, the pediatrician of free choice or the pharmacist (who have access to the Health Card system) for the recovery of their Green Certification.
