Here are Exor's latest investments in artificial intelligence

After Philips and N5 Now, Exor's investments in technology continue: John Elkann's holding has invested in two artificial intelligence startups: one specialized in data analysis, the other in automated agriculture

Technology will play an increasingly important role in the investment portfolio of Exor, the Dutch holding company led by John Elkann and owner, among other things, of a car company (Stellantis), a football team (Juventus) and a group editorial (GEDI).

In recent weeks, Exor has acquired 15 percent of Philips , a Dutch health technology company, and participated in a financing round of N5 Now , an Argentine fintech company.

THE INVESTMENT IN PANDASAI (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE)

At the end of September the holding, through its venture capital arm Vento, took part in a financing round of PandasAI, a German startup developing an artificial intelligence system specialized in assisting data analysis.

The founder of PandasAI is an Italian, Gabriele Venturi. The startup's name is a combination of Pandas, a data analysis software library written in the Python programming language, and AI, artificial intelligence.

In all, in the pre-seed round the startup raised 1.1 million dollars, thanks also to the contribution of Runa Capital (Luxembourg) and Episode1 (London), as well as Vento.

THE INVESTMENT IN AFT (ROBOTIC AGRICULTURE)

CNH Industrial, an Exor group company that makes agricultural machinery, announced yesterday that it has acquired a minority stake in Advanced Farm Technologies, a US startup specializing in robotic fruit harvesting. The two companies have also started a collaboration between their respective research and development departments.

Advanced Farm Technologies uses machine learning (a branch of artificial intelligence), computer vision, an automatic handling system and robotic arms equipped with pincers to pick fruit from trees, day and night, without damaging it, eliminating part of the manual work.
