Still on the Asian front, China, in an eternal search for resources to feed its civil and military industry, has signed an agreement through its company Zhejiang Huayuo to create a joint-venture in Indonesia – and more precisely in the Weda Bay industrial park, on the Indonesian island of Halmahera – with various investors – such as Young Ray Holding Group Co. Ltd., Glaucous, EVE Asia Co. Ltd. and Lindo – with an outlay of $ 2 billion for the extraction of cobalt and of nickel.
