All the details on the international conference organized by AiCARR "HVAC and health, comfort, environment" scheduled for 3 and 4 September

The 52nd AiCARR International Conference (Italian Association of Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration) "HVAC and health, comfort, environment" opens today, 3 September. The event, scheduled for 3 and 4 September, will be an opportunity to discover how heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems can be an important ally in preventing virus infections.

Now, starting from this point, it is necessary to continue to promote the issue of health to public opinion and institutions through the correct ventilation of the rooms, also looking beyond the health emergency ".

During the event, the topic of energy efficiency and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan will also be explored. We will also talk about energy transition, conservation of cultural heritage, the importance of air quality in school environments and mechanical ventilation systems (VMC).

The two-day program includes a rich program of interventions, with the participation of experts in the fields of research, industry, design and healthcare. Four invited lectures, entrusted to Filippo Busato, President of AiCARR, with Federico Pedranzini, Department of Energy, Politecnico di Milano; Fabrizio Pregliasco, University of Milan – IRCCS Galeazzi Milan; Cesare Maria Joppolo, Department of Energy, Milan Polytechnic; and William Bahnfleth, ASHRAE, Pennsylvania State University, USA.

On the occasion of the conference, the Seminar "Zeb and decarbonisation: strategies and pathways" will be held on Saturday 4 September at 2.30 pm, designed to offer the European and US point of view on the path towards Zero Energy buildings and decarbonisation.

The 52nd AiCARR International Conference, sponsored by ASHRAE, REHVA, IEQ-GA, National Council of Engineers and Department of Technique and Management of Industrial Systems of the University of Padua, seat of Vicenza, Foundation for University Studies of Vicenza, can be followed in live online and in person, at the Vicenza branch of the University of Padua.
