For almost 4 months the trade unions and workers have been involved in the Leonardo Electronics division dispute, relating to the project announced by the group for the transfer and closure of various sites, especially in the Campania and Lazio areas.
We again ask the MiSE to proceed with the convocation requested by the trade unions and to set up an institutional table that can guarantee the best solutions for development, maintenance of missions and qualification of employment, thus allowing to verify over time the complex commitments to be undertaken by part of Leonardo.
The MiSE must act as guarantor of the contents, necessary changes and validity of the overall industrial project under discussion.
At the same time, we ask the Leonardo group to review the announced project and to put industrial solutions valid for every reality involved at the center of the discussion with the trade unions. Solutions are needed that strengthen the present missions by matching the needs of each worker for job security.
We believe that the struggle initiatives taken in the most affected sites must now be capitalized with paths and solutions that defend the needs of workers and the future of the realities concerned.
To this end, the Fim Cisl reaffirms its availability for a common discussion with the local trade union structures concerned in order to take on the next choices and initiatives.
The Fim Cisl will continue to fight to seek a unitary trade union agreement that guarantees growth in industrial development and employment, especially in these areas of the country.
