Stellantis increasingly French: Aramis listed in Paris

All plans of Aramis Group, a subsidiary of Stellantis specializing in the sale of used cars

Aramis Group received the first green light for listing on the Paris Stock Exchange. The company, 70% owned by Stellantis, specializes in the sale of used cars and the IPO should be a springboard for further growth.

All the details.

THE GOAL OF THE AMF

Let's start with the facts. Aramis Group, received from AMF, the French financial markets authority, the approval of the “registration document” for the listing on the Paris Stock Exchange. It would be the first IPO in the Galaxy of Stellantis and, joining the Parisian list, confirming how much the company born from the merger between PSA and FCA is linked to France.

THE NEXT STEPS

The green light represents only the first step towards landing on the stock exchange. Currently, in fact, the approval of the prospectus, again by the AMF, is lacking, as well as the favorable market conditions.

THE ROLE OF STELLANTIS

Stellantis, even after the listing, wants to keep a majority stake in its subsidiary Aramis. No stake held by the auto giant, therefore, will be sold on the occasion of the IPO.

THE SIGHTS OF ARAMIS

Aramis Group, specialized in the online sale of second-hand cars, owner of Cardoen since 2018, and majority shareholder of the British site CarSupermarket, aims to exceed the threshold of 1.25 billion euros in revenues.

And to grow again after the IPO, raising up to 250 million euros. "With the listing we intend to further accelerate our growth, both organic and through acquisitions, with the ambition of being the preferred digital platform for the purchase of used cars in Europe", explain Nicolas Chartier and Guillaume Paoli, co-founders and respectively President and CEO of Aramis. “This IPO will also allow us to improve our visibility among customers and partners and will provide us with greater flexibility to seize future growth opportunities,” they added.

THE NUMBERS OF ARAMIS

The Aramis group closed last year, as at 30 September 2020, with revenues of 831 million euros, up 16% on 2019. For the current year, it is expected to exceed 1.2 billion euros , with an EBITDA margin between 2.7% and 2.9%. For the financial year to 30 September 2022, the goal is to reach 1.5 billion euros in revenues, with + 30% organic growth in used car sales.
