IDENTIFICATION OF AREAS FOR THE DEPOSIT OF NUCLEAR WASTE
The areas were identified by Sogin after a "complex selection process on a national scale", based on the "location criteria established by ISIN (Inspectorate for National Security and Radiation Protection), which allowed to discard the areas that they met certain safety requirements for the protection of man and the environment. ONE COLOR FOR THE DEGREE OF SUITABILITY

There are only 12 emerald green areas, 11 in light green, and all the others are light blue and yellow.
