CyberXcelerator will be managed by Startup Wise Guys (portfolio of over 185 startups and over 86 investments made starting from January 2019), and will see the presence of primary industrial partners including Leonardo, as main partner, who will make available their skills and technologies for the selection, acceleration and investment phases of the startups selected in the early stage, identifying the technological issues of interest to build a national supply chain capable of supporting the country's technological autonomy and the corporate partner Italgas, leader in the distribution of gas, with over 73,000 kilometers of managed network and approximately 8 million users served. NTT DATA will be the Accelerator's technological partner.

The overall endowment of CyberXcelerator will exceed 5 million euros, of which 2.5 million euros allocated by the Accelerators Fund of CDP Venture Capital Sgr together with Startup Wise Guys, for the acceleration phase, in addition to 2 million euros for the following follow-on, which are added to the 600 thousand euros made available by the industrial partners of the project.

CyberXcelerator will select 30 Italian and international startups, which intend to open an office in Italy, with the possibility of accessing financial resources and an acceleration program with over 250 mentors of the Startup Wise Guys network from all over the world.

Interested startups will have the opportunity to apply starting today on the website www.cyberxcelerator.com, to take part in the selection of the program, which will last 22 weeks and will be located in the NTT DATA offices in Cosenza, third research pole in the world in cybersecurity, after that of Tokyo in Japan and Palo Alto in California, and in the facilities made available by the University of Calabria together with its TechNest incubator.
