A Christmas of Christian hope despite “this” Church

It is a "lame" Christmas, we understand this. Something is missing, but what? Being able to participate in a Holy Mass in presence and proximity without the encumbrance of a muzzle? Also, but that's not all. Being able to be around a table with who loves us? Also, but that's not all. Being able to go out freely to enjoy the streets of the city? Also, but that's not all. The atmosphere of serenity and peace? Also, but that's not all.

Do you know what we miss more than anything else? The “ Catéchon ”. A Greek word, used by St. Paul in the second letter to the Thessalonians to indicate the "brake", the obstacle, the impediment to the spreading of the forces of evil on Earth. And the biggest problem is that we all know what the catéchon should be today – more than ever on the day of the holy feast of Christian Christmas: the Church and, above all, its Supreme Pontiff.

And the amazing thing is that the highest leaders of the clergy not only do not seem aware of the need to assume, with pride and courage, this terrible and extremely risky role. Rather, they seem to be in consonant harmony with the “little ones” (in the sense of ignoble, mean, criminal) world powers at the service of that “Power” which Christ (first born, then crucified and risen) opposed; thus becoming a universal catéchon through his Church.

Well, there is a symbolic photo of this horrendous 2020. And it is the one that immortalizes Bergoglio, dressed in white, among the top leaders of the world globalist elite. There are the administrators of the sprawling banking powers and also the members of the richest families on the planet. And already on this we would have to laugh, or at least to fault, if we think of the incarnation of the Christian God: a helpless child surrounded by poor and humble shepherds. Something is not right.

Just as the pompous, ridiculous name of the Lords of the Planet received with great fanfare in the Vatican by the Vicar of Christ does not return: “The Guardians”. The guardians, do you understand? About what? Of what the ladies call "inclusive capitalism". In practice, the great reset of a rotten world from the foundations carried out by the main responsible for that same rot. The wolf who becomes a sheep to devour the sheep: a great classic of classical fables. Where we do not know, the figure of the shepherd who opens the gate of the sheepfold to the wolf was contemplated.

But Bergoglio, it seems, was not notified. Or he thinks otherwise. Even in terms of the most subtle and effective communication: the symbolic one. Look carefully at the nativity scene set up in St. Peter's Square. To call him "differently" Christian is a pitiful euphemism. Certainly, it is not human: it is a disgrace of cylindrical totems, with the wise men deformed in a disturbing and, in some ways, diabolical alienity. In that crib there is the mystery of this Christmas 2020: the fact, that is, that glimmers of hope and Christian faith remain alive in all of us. And not thanks to the Church, but despite "this" Church.
