Indeed, the possibility of falsifying a theory is precisely the figure itself, the peculiar feature of the scientific method. And this was taught by Karl Popper: coincidentally a philosopher, not a scientist.

So, we have this paradox: we live in a self-styled scientific era, that is (apparently) obsessed with the search for "factual" truth and the phobia for "fake" news. And hardly anyone remembers that scientific research does not start from facts to get to theories, but from theories to put them to the test of facts. And it makes falsification one of its fundamental pillars.

We come now to "leavecience" which is not a relative, not even a poor one, of science. But pretending to represent (or to be guided by) "science", at the same time ignoring and betraying the peculiarities of authentic science, leads to the schizophrenic short circuit of recent times. With vaccines first passed off as safe to a thousand per thousand, then suspended for a day or two, then reconfirmed as very safe. Except to refer to the leaflets the contraindications perfectly known to science, but which "science" cannot afford to talk about. Or with investigations of the "causal link" (between virus and deaths or between deaths and vaccine) mutants of sign according to convenience. And, what's more, done at the speed of light.

So we went from an embarrassing ease in the census of deaths "for" Covid to the sacred terror of talking about "vaccine" deaths. In a psychopathological alternation of childish euphoria for the “granite” certainties and panic in the room as they crumble.
