Leonardo formalizes the new organizational chart of the group after the inauguration of the president Stefano Pontecorvo and the managing director Roberto Cingolani. All the details on divisions, operating units and top managers

Leonardo's ( more streamlined ) reorganization is underway with the new organizational chart.

Last week the board of directors of the aerospace and defense group approved the new reorganization based on the service order signed by the new managing director Roberto Cingolani.

The management team will count on a total of eight reports – nine if the co-manager Lorenzo Mariani is added – to the managing director and general manager and a co-management general (entrusted to Lorenzo Mariani) who will coordinate the divisions and business units. We are therefore down compared to the thirteen direct reports of the previous management by Alessandro Profumo.

"The new, simplified structure will guarantee a streamlined management model which at the same time strengthens the managerial team", commented Leonardo's CEO, Roberto Cingolani, adding that "the goal is to ensure more agile business management and face successfully the challenges posed by an increasingly dynamic and competitive market at an international level”.

All the details.

Finally, the service order signed by Cingolani concludes with thanks to “Gabriele Pieralli, Enrico Savio and Giovanni Soccodato, whose new roles in the Group will soon be formalized with subsequent organizational documentation, for the precious contribution provided. We also thank Andrea Parrella for his precious contribution, and wish him the best for his future activities".

As already mentioned, in fact, Gabriele Pieralli is now the former head of the electronics division, who has been replaced by Marco De Fazio. Enrico Savio leaves the role of Chief Strategy & Market Intelligence Officer (currently held ad interim by CEO Cingolani) and Giovanni Soccodato that of chief strategic equity officer (role also held by Cingolani ad interim), since on 1 June he assumed the role of Executive group director sales & business development and managing director of Mbda Italia, thus succeeding Lorenzo Mariani.
