What will change for transport, banks, businesses and public offices

What will change for transport, banks, businesses and public offices

Here are the new rules envisaged for transport, banks, shops and public offices by the latest government measures

After three hours of discussion, the Council of Ministers on January 5 unanimously approved the new measures to deal with the fourth wave of Covid.

The new decree provides:

The obligation of vaccination for all those who have reached the age of 50: to access the workplace from February 15, you will need the super green pass that is obtained with the vaccine or with recovery. Those who do not have it lose their salary.

The penalty for those over 50 who do not get vaccinated will be 100 euros, for those over 50 who show up for work without a super green pass it will be from 600 euros to 1,500 euros.

Without age limits, the vaccination obligation is also extended to university staff.

From January 20, the basic green pass obligation is extended to workers and customers of personal services (hairdressers, beauticians), public offices, postal, banking and financial services, commercial activities, except for food and pharmacies.

Front school: the new measures provide that in elementary school, with only one infection, the class remains in attendance with verification tests, but with two it goes all in Dad. In high school and middle school, Dad will start only in the fourth case in class, while with three cases only the vaccinated will remain in the presence and in any case monitored (Dad for the unvaccinated). Even in high school up to two cases, self-monitoring is provided for everyone and the use of Ffp2.

The measures taken "want to preserve the proper functioning of hospitals and, at the same time, keep schools and businesses open," said Prime Minister Mario Draghi.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE VACCINAL OBLIGATION

The vaccine obligation does not apply to those who, for health reasons, cannot have administered the drugs used for immunization. But also to those who, recovered from Covid, will have to wait before being able to receive the vaccination. The exempt, however, by virtue of the high risk of contagion to which they are exposed, may be used by the employer for different tasks (for example if in contact with the public or employed in contexts where contacts are frequent) in a manner to avoid that they turn into potential spreaders of the virus. As is already the case, family doctors or vaccinating doctors must certify the health conditions that prevent vaccination or recommend that it be deferred. The relevant certification can be shown in the workplace and in all places where the Super Green Pass is required.

HERE ARE THE SANCTIONS DECIDED BY THE GOVERNMENT FOR NO VAX.

100 euros the administrative fine, for those who do not respect the vaccination obligation. Heavier ones are instead provided for those who try to enter the workplace without certification: from 600 to 1,500 euros. Anyone who is absent from the workplace by communicating that they are not in possession of the vaccine certification, will be suspended without pay, but will not suffer disciplinary consequences and will have the right to keep the job. Employers' delegates, both in the public and in the private sector, will be responsible for verifying the requisites, while in the courthouses the control will be on the heads of security and in universities and institutes of high artistic and musical training and in technical institutes for senior executives. In companies, after 5 days, the employer can suspend the absent and replace them by stipulating contracts of 10 days renewable until March 31st.

AGILE WORK, HERE ARE THE NEWS DECIDED BY BRUNETTA AND ORLANDO

Ministers Brunetta and Orlando signed a circular to sensitize public administrations and private employers to use agile work. "Let's start all the agile work schemes already present in the regulations, the private sector will use maximum flexibility to guarantee safety and services, the same will be done by the public – explained Minister Brunetta – Maximum flexibility to stem infections". Companies and public offices must combine, on the basis of actual needs, the full operation of services and economic activities with the maximum safety of workers and users. HERE ARE THE NEWS IN THE SERVICES SECTOR

All public offices, banks, financial companies, post offices. Starting from February 1st, it will also be necessary to have at least one negative swab to access these places. As for commercial businesses and personal services, the hardest line of the Super Green Pass has been set aside but the government has in any case provided for the obligation of a basic Green Pass for a very long series of offices to which access has been so far. always been free. It will be necessary to show it, for example, at the offices of the registry office, at the motorization, for any appointment in a municipal office for the renewal of documents or to attend to any kind of paperwork. Green Pass to enter the bank and the post office but also to access the counters of the Revenue Agencies, health services, administrations of all levels. Also in this case the entry into force of the obligation has been postponed pending the complete list of places.

BUSINESS

Starting from January 20, the Green Pass will also be required to go to the hairdresser, barber, beautician or any personal care service center, this time also the basic one, which is obtained with a negative swab made 48 or 72 hours earlier depending on whether antigenic or molecular. The proposal by part of the majority to provide access only to those who are vaccinated or cured has not passed but it is still a tightening because up to now no certification was required for access to these services. Basic Green Pass also required to access all commercial establishments open to everyone up to now. So every time they want to go into a store, except those that sell essential products, the unvaccinated will have to swab first. The rule will come into force on February 1 to allow the list of commercial establishments deemed of primary necessity to be drawn up.
