WHAT'S IN THE NEW TERNA PLAN
The plan contains total investments of 10 billion euros. 1.7 billion will be invested in 2022.
THE STRENGTHENING OF THE TRANSMISSION NETWORK
Most of the resources – over 8 billion – will be used for the modernization and strengthening of the Italian electricity transmission grid.
The development of electricity infrastructures is fundamental for the ecological transition, which involves an increase in the installations of renewable energy plants – approximately 60-70 gigawatts of wind and solar power are expected by 2030 -, which will be connected to the grid. INNOVATION AND DIGITIZATION

FOUR TECHNOLOGICAL CLUSTERS
In the updated 2021-2025 business plan there are four technology clusters: Digital, Energy Tech, Advanced Materials and Robotics.
Digital is about intelligent solutions for energy and power management; Energy Tech innovative solutions that use more efficient technologies and low greenhouse gas emissions; Advanced Materials research and development of eco-compatible and low environmental impact materials. Finally, the Robotics cluster relates to the automation of processes.

REVENUES, EBITDA AND DIVIDENDS
For 2025, Terna expects revenues of 3.08 billion euros and EBITDA of 2.14 billion euros. The average annual growth in the period 2021-2025 is estimated at over 4 percent for revenues and over 3 percent for EBITDA.
In 2022 alone, the company expects revenues to grow to € 2.74 billion and EBITDA to € 1.9 billion.
With regard to dividends, from 2022 to 2023 the forecast of a CAGR of the dividend per share equal to 8 per cent, compared to the dividend for the year 2021, is confirmed. For the years 2024 and 2025, however, the forecast is a payout of 75 per cent, with a minimum guaranteed dividend equal to the dividend for the year 2023.
